TAMPA, Fla. — One of the best places to watch the Lightning’s Stanley Cup Championship boat parade is on the water.

Boats aren’t allowed on the actual parade route, but they can be around the route on the water for the best views of the Lightning players.

“It's really cool to see the players up close, and take part in the celebration,” said Kevin Fyfe, owner of eBoats Tampa.

Fyfe rents electric boats from the Riverwalk at the Sail Plaza.

He was here for the Lightning’s celebration last year, and the Bucs Super Bowl boat parade this year. On Monday, a Lightning sponsored eBoat will lead the parade right behind Tampa’s Mayor, Jane Castor.

Boat parades are becoming something Tampa is known for, and Fyfe said he’s proud of what his city is becoming.

“It's amazing, not only that the sports teams are doing, it’s so great, but that we have the ability to enjoy the celebrations on the water.  That's a really cool situation for Tampa and everybody's having a great time,” said Fyfe.

eBoats Tampa is completely booked up for Monday’s boat parade.

Fyfe said people started reserving the boats as soon as the boat parade was announced last week.
