If you stop by to say hello to Arora at her Tampa home, it’s likely you’ll find her paint brush in had at her easel.
And inside you’ll be treated to samples of her talent just about everywhere you look. A self-taught artist, she’s been doing it for some time now.
“I think it’s a gift God has given me,” Arora said. “And since five years old i am doing the painting.”
During the pandemic she said she completed about one picture a day.
But while the number of Covid cases have dropped in America that’s still not the case in many other countries.
Born in Bombay the tragic Covid news from India weighed heavily on her. And so Shashi now offers a print of her art for a $50 donation.
That money immediately goes to the breath India fund and the American-Indian Foundation.
“You know, even one $50 can help those in India in so many ways,” she said. “And the kids can have oxygen and they can have food.”
Her greatest wish is one shared by all: “I wish for the whole world the coronavirus go away.”
And her only payback is knowing the blessings that will come her way.
“Those blessings are going to go way far and that will help me inside out to know i helped somebody.”
