TAMPA, Fla. — The Tampa Police Bike Unit is coming together to help one of their own.
Ofc. Matt McNeal was diagnosed with brain cancer more than one year ago and was working towards recovery, even back on the job for short periods of time. Now McNeal’s condition has worsened and he’s restricted to his home.
In hopes of providing McNeal and his family with the help they need this holiday season, the Tampa Police Bike Unit put together a raffle to raise money for their fellow brother. As of Friday morning, the raffle has brought in more than $26,000.
The raffle will run until December 14 at 5 p.m. and includes a number of prizes including Tampa Bay Lightning, wrestling, and Busch Gardens tickets.
All proceeds will go straight to Ofc. McNeal and his family.
