PASCO COUNTY, Fla. — Tom Brady's skills on the field have earned him many lifelong fans.

What You Need To Know

We tracked down a 100-year-old super fan who is living in a Pasco County nursing home.

Alice Proctor loves to wear Brady's No. 12 jersey while cruising around at the Trinity Regional Rehab Center.

"I think he's wonderful,” she said. “When he throws those passes, he's right on target."

Her love for Brady runs in the family. She has a picture of her great-grandson wearing a New England Patriots Brady jersey. She lived outside of Boston and has been a Pats fan since the 1960s.

She was thrilled when Brady came to the Bucs a couple of years ago.

Even though Proctor really looks forward to watching Brady's games on TV, she thinks he's making the right move by retiring.

"I'm amazed how long he has stayed and played, and I feel that it's time for his retirement," she said. “He's going to hate to stop playing. I know how it must feel but he's done so well."

She said retirement will allow Brady to spend more time with his family and leave football before he gets injured.

“Sometimes when I watch those tackles, of course this is a woman's thinking, I said 'Oh'. I said, 'Leave well enough alone'. Retire before he really gets hurt."

Proctor turned 100 years old on Christmas Eve. Her wish was a phone call from Brady that didn’t happen. But maybe he’ll see this story and pick up the phone.
