It's the collection of former President of the National Boxing Association and founder of the Florida Boxing Hall of Fame, Walter "Butch" Flansburg.
"He just loved boxing," said his friend, Phil Alessi of Alessi Promotions.
Flansburg died earlier this year. His widow, Kathy Flansburg, decided to auction off most of his collectibles so that other boxing fans could enjoy the collection. She kept a few items for herself.
"The rest of it needs to live on," she said.
There are more than 400 items that will be sold. Some of the items include championship belts, signed authentic boxing gloves, signed boxing artwork, fight posters, and other boxing memorabilia.
The autographed items are signed by boxing greats like Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson, Roberto Duran, Rocky Marciano, and Hector "Macho Man" Camacho.
The auction will take place July 30th at Alessi Gym, 5202 Eagle Trail Drive in Tampa. Some of the items are already being bid on virtually. To find out more about the auction, click here.
