AUSTIN, Texas — Austin’s beloved Trail of Lights returns this year to an in-person format after two years as a drive-thru light show in response to COVID-19.

Starting Dec. 8, the community can hit the trail once again at Zilker Park in the heart of Austin.

This annual event is the longest running tradition of its kind in Austin and is powered by H-E-B.

With over 2 million lights illuminating the park, and nightly performances by local artists and entertainers, Austinites and people from all over the world have visited and made this event one of the most popular in Texas.

The lights will be on display until Dec. 23, and tickets will go on sale in early October.
