ORLANDO, Fla. —  From viral videos to civil complaints and lawsuits, natural hair discrimination has become a growing issue nationwide.

There's even a push for Congress to pass legislation, protecting Americans against hair style-based bias.

Logan Rentz found himself on the front line of the call for change, when he decided to put his patriotism into practice. His high school's JROTC wouldn't let him wear the uniform — unless he cut off his dreadlocks.

But now, following a change in policy, he's ready to get in formation.
