Jason Delgado is a political correspondent at the Florida Capitol in Tallahassee. He joined the Spectrum News team in July 2022.

Jason, an Orlando native, is a proud University of Central Florida graduate and U.S. Army veteran. He holds a degree in political science and national security. Go Knights!

At UCF, Jason was the editor-in-chief of the on-campus Knight News.

Before coming to Spectrum, Jason worked as a print journalist at outlets including USA TODAY-Florida, Florida Politics, and Politico. Much of Jason's past reporting covered state government, campaigns, and legislative issues. 

Outside of work, Jason enjoys traveling, cheering on the Orlando Magic, and learning about the world around him.
