Anna, Anthony and Shane Donnelly each scored very high on the college readiness exam.

Anthony, a Jesuit High senior, got 1600. That’s a perfect score.

His siblings, Shane and Anna, were just 10 points behind him.

“They’re dragging down the family average,” Anthony joked. “What can I say?”

“We’re all pretty happy with the scores, I mean they’re incredible,” Shane said.

“Great minds think alike,” Anna said.

The three admit they’re natural test-takers, but a lot of prep work went into it, too.

Their mother said the kids planned this out even before high school.

“We homeschooled so at a homeschool convention we’d sat in on a seminar that talked about scholarships for high scoring SATs and they were kind of like, ‘Yeah, we can do that,’” said their mother Mary Donnelly.

After graduating, Anthony, Anna and Shane plan to attend the University of Central Florida. They want to study Computer Science or Information Technology.

“We all wanted to study the same thing going in,” Anna laughed. “We’re real original you can tell.”

Since they also scored very well on the PSAT, the three are National Merit Semi-Finalists and have each received college scholarships.
