She loves finding new, fun ways to teach her students and keep them engaged.

“I just make it fun for them and make it to where it’s cool. Because now a days high school has to be cool,” said Robinson.

Robinson said she encourages her students to have discussions in her classroom.

“I want them to know that they have a voice," she said. "And I want them to understand they are heard whether they think they’re not, they are heard and their opinions matter."

Her other passion is leading the school’s step team to success.

"We are a sisterhood," Robinson said. "We do things in the community. We come together here and we connect on so many different levels."

Robinson says she is excited to continue helping the step team and taking on new challenges as a teacher.

“My goal is to continue to inspire as well as be inspired." Robinson said. "I would also like to elevate and hopefully become a school social worker so that way I can connect even more with students."
