This section of the Good Neighbor Trail will go along SR-50A/Jefferson Street though Tom Varn Park, and then along US 41 to Main Street in downtown Brooksville.

The $20 million project started construction last September and is expected to be finished in early 2025.

It will also be part of the Coast-to-Coast Trail, which crosses the state of Florida.
