TAMPA, Fla. — Have you heard of Sled Hockey? It’s an adaptive sport the Tampa Bay Lightning are now offering as a first-time, learn to play program sponsored by the NHL.
It’s meant to empower and inspire youth who have a physical disability, limiting them from playing hockey in a standing position.
