“So, we like to define empowerment as using your life’s experiences to help guide your future choices,” said Joey Chaffin, Vice President of Operations. “You can kind of typically get through most things by changing your mindset.”
Chaffin has been gearing up and guiding guest here for maximum empowerment. Helping people face their fears one step at a time.
“For us, the zip line course — as fun as it is — is really a tool to help people step outside their comfort zones. It’s where you find you learn your life lessons to be more resilient in the future and to overcome more challenges as you get older,” Chaffin said.
It’s showing your mind what you can do. The best part of the tour for Chaffin is seeing people transform in front of his eyes.
“Watching them go through that transformation process of being scared, nervous, anxious. Watching that process kind of unfold is really what really makes it special, and what really keeps you wanting to come back and do it more,” he said.
