On Saturday, Everything Birds posted a video to their Facebook page of a woman walking up to one of the bird displays.

The sheriff's office says the post led to two anonymous citizens contacting the store owners and identified the suspect as 54-year-old Grissel Nistal.

Nistal agreed to return the bird after detectives visited her home.

She was charged with one count of felony grand theft and taken to the Pinellas County Jail.

The owners of Everything Birds say they are thinking of naming the bird "Bandit" in reference to the incident.
