ORLANDO, Fla. — SeaWorld Orlando will transform into a winter wonderland as the park’s Christmas Celebration returns this holiday season, officials announced Wednesday.
Guests will be able to enjoy holiday lights and live entertainment from Nov. 16 – Jan. 5.
This year features an outdoor ice rink at Bayside Stadium and a “Sea of Trees,” in which decorated trees light up the water in sync with classic holiday songs, along with a 70-foot centerpiece holiday tree at the heart of the display.
The park’s “O Wondrous Night” show returns this year, retelling the story of the Nativity with more than 30 cherished Christmas carols, life-sized puppets and live animals.
New experiences include the Christmas decor at Journey to Atlantis Plaza, featuring sparkling lights and festive displays, including the Snow Globe Ballerina. In the Antarctica Realm, guests can enjoy a snowy ambiance, playful Donder Elves and the Penguin Trek ride, where visitors journey through an Antarctic landscape and get up close with the park’s penguins.
Guests are invited to visit Mrs. Claus’ Magic Kitchen, where Mrs. Claus shares cookie recipes and holiday baking tips with a modern, social-media twist. The holiday celebration continues with “Holiday Reflections: Fireworks Finale,” a display of fireworks set to popular Christmas tunes.
In Sesame Street Land, guests and their families can enjoy the Sesame Street Christmas Parade with favorite characters, the “Elmo’s Christmas Wish” show and Storytime with Big Bird. Visitors can also meet Rudolph and Bumble in Rudolph’s Christmas Town and visit with Santa Claus at the Wild Arctic gift shop.
For more winter fun, visitors can check out “Winter Wonderland on Ice,” an ice-skating show featuring sparkling lights, festive costumes and performances. Access to the rink is first-come, first-served, with socks and gloves available for purchase.
