ORLANDO, Fla. — An Orlando resort is putting chocolate everywhere — even the reindeer in the lobby are edible.
Chef Jessica Bingham is the executive pastry chef at Caribe Royale Orlando.
“I wanted to be a pastry chef since I was 12 years old,” she said. “When I hear someone that loves what I created for them, that just makes my day.”
She not only teaches chocolate-making and cookie-decorating classes on the property, but she also helped created huge chocolate displays in the hotel lobby, like Santa’s Magical Flight and Jingle Bell Junction.
Her pastry team is sharing decorating tips and tricks on Fridays and Saturdays from 4 to 6 p.m. through Dec. 28.
You don’t have to be a hotel guest to stroll through the displays. The bar also has seasonally inspired cocktails with chocolate infusion.
There are 10 holiday gnomes hidden around the resort. Holiday activities at Caribe Royale Orlando run through Jan. 1.
