Hamilton says making sure everyone has a fun and safe night is the top priority.

“The best thing to do is Uber," Hamilton said. "It’s a great day to Uber, especially when you are coming downtown where parking is hard, so it’s a lot less hassle.

“Get a hotel where you can walk back," he added.

Jackson’s officials said if you’ve procrastinated in your New Years Eve plans, they still have room for dinner and general admission reservations.

If a bar or restaurant isn’t your forte to ring in 2025, Bayshore Boulevard and Palma Ceia Park offer great views of the fireworks at midnight.
