The Gasparilla Pirate Fest is just days away, and even though it's going to be a cold celebration, there are sure to be plenty of people in Tampa celebrating.

Local leaders are getting ready for those crowds to make sure the big parade is safe and fun for everyone.

Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister joined us Thursday to talk about what his department is doing to ensure that nobody has to walk the plank.
