TEXAS — Texas’s three soccer clubs — Austin FC, Houston Dynamo FC and FC Dallas, will kick off their seasons on Saturday night.
FC Dallas and Houston Dynamo FC will meet at Houston’s Shell Energy Stadium at 7:30 p.m. to kick off the season.
FC Dallas is hosting a watch party for the game at GOATs Arena Sports Bar in Frisco.
Austin FC will face off against Sporting Kansas City at Q2 Stadium in Austin at 7:30 p.m.
Before the Austin FC game, Friday’s Verde Verde Verde Fest at Meanwhile Brewing lets fans celebrate the season opener.
FC Dallas’s first home match will be on March 8, against the Chicago Fire FC.
FC Dallas’s MLS regular season will begin earlier than ever before on Feb. 22.
Austin FC’s first road match will be against the Portland Timbers on March 1 at Providence Park.
Houston Dynamo FC’s first road match will be against the Columbus Crew on March 8 at Lower.com Field.
