Public Safety Information Chief Rob Herrin said the first calls came in just before noon.

Sky 9 video shows thick, black smoke billowing into the air during the fire. According to HCFR, crews found seven units on fire when they arrived. They fought the fire for more than 20 minutes and were able to keep it from spreading.

A number of large vehicles were damaged, including an RV that belonged to Crystal Renee Rose's family.

"We found out on Facebook about the fire. Then, we drove down here. We then saw it burned down," said Rose. "Family ashes were in it."

Little was left of the RV that Rose said her family's owned since 2013.

"We traveled many, many states in the RV," she said.

According to Rose and her family, three relatives' ashes were in the RV. Her mother said they're moving and didn't want the ashes to get lost in the process. They said firefighters were able to find one loved ones' ashes, but the other two were still missing as of late Friday afternoon.

"It was hard seeing my mom break down, my grandma," Rose said. "It's hard watching my parents fall apart. It's hard for me because I've got to be strong for them. It's very sentimental to us."

An employee at CubeSmart told Spectrum News the business had no comment on the fire.
