"I am a frequent flyer," said Twana Dixon to Sr. Mary.

The pair meet in Dixon's hospital room at St. Antony's Hospital. Dixon was recently checked in because of blood clots in her legs.

Sr. Mary stopped by to share faith and religious support.

"You are such a spiritual person, have you always been that way?" asks Sr. Mary to Dixon.

"Yes, the majority of my life, and I grew up in the church," Dixon replied.

Sr. Mary intently listens, while offering guidance and support when needed.

She works as the Vice President of Mission Emeritus at BayCare's St. Anthony's Hospital in St. Petersburg.

"Each person has a story and I'm fortunate enough to perhaps hear that," said Sr. Mary.

She has listened to countless stories over the decades. She has been a nun for 62 years.

Now at 80 years old, she still shows up daily with no intention of retiring.

"The question is, is life giving to you and are you giving life to it? And certainly, at St Anthony's, gives life to me. And I hope by giving life to it," said Sr. Mary.

Since 2009, Sr. Mary has worked at St. Anthony's. But she was involved in BayCare from its formation back in the 1980s.

"Involved with wonderful people, inspiring people throughout my life, especially here at St Anthony's," said Sr. Mary.

To her, St. Anthony's Hospital feels like home.

"We welcome everybody into our home, whether it be the patients with the visitors," said Sr. Mary.

Dixon felt welcome.

"You take care, God Bless," said Dixon as Sr. Mary prepared to leave.

"God Bless you. And pray for me, as I will pray for you," Sr. Mary replied.
