CINCINNATI — The Cincinnati Art Museum announced it's bringing back its "Art in Bloom" event, which is a four-day event that celebrates floral artists from around the globe.
More than 60 floral artists will showcase their skills with "vibrant and innovative floral designs inspired by the museum’s collection." The artists were selected by a jury, and all of them are aspiring and hobby floral artists. A list of them can be found here.
The event will also feature Alexis Nikole Nelson, who goes by "Black Forager" on social media. She's from Cincinnati and uses her platforms to educate others about edible plants and the importance of food traditions from African American and Indigenous cultures.
Additionally, Natasja Sadi will be there again as well, who's based in Amsterdam and is a floral photographer and sugar flower artist.
“Art in Bloom 2024 saw record attendance at the Cincinnati Art Museum with most of our ticketed events selling out immediately. This year, we’ve added more events with our diverse audiences in mind, both ticketed and free to encourage as much engagement as possible,” said Ann Keeling, 2025 Art in Bloom Chair. “Feedback from visitors during Art in Bloom last year was overwhelmingly positive—and it was incredibly rewarding to see the joy and experience the energy in the museum,"
The event will run from Thursday, April 24 to Sunday, April 27. Visitors can enjoy the floral displays for free throughout the museum's galleries. There will also be Art in Bloom-related events, and some of them may require tickets. Tickets will go on sale Friday, March 14 for presale and then will be open for the public to purchase on Friday, March 21.
