CINCINNATI — Major League Baseball season is arriving, with Cincinnati preparing itself for Opening Day with the Cincinnati Reds.
Next Thursday, March 27, the Reds take on the San Francisco Giants. Metro will offer fixed routes and Access para-transit free for riders.
“Metro has been transporting fans to the ballpark since the days of the Big Red Machine,” said Brandy Jones, Metro’s chief communications and marketing officer. “With our recent service expansions, we’re offering even more ways for people across the region to connect and support the Reds throughout the 2025 season.”
The Findlay Market Reds Opening Day Parade begins at noon on March 27, which will temporarily close Government Square and other downtown stops through the early afternoon. To check which routes will be affected, click here, or call the Metro Customer Care Center at 513-632-7575.
Once the parade ends, detours will be lifted shortly after. To register for Cincy EZAlerts or to track the detours, click here.
