Alaska Airlines announced a new nonstop flight between Seattle and Seoul Incheon, set to begin on Sept. 12, 2025. The flight, operated by Hawaiian Airlines, will use an Airbus A330-200 aircraft to connect travelers directly to South Korea’s capital city.

This new route is a significant step in Alaska Airlines' expansion plans. By 2030, the airline aims to offer 12 nonstop international flights from Seattle, including routes to Seoul Incheon and Tokyo Narita.

The Seattle hub, already the West Coast’s largest airline hub, serves 104 nonstop destinations across North America. Alaska Airlines plans to continue building Seattle as a key global gateway for international travel.

“With our robust network, we can connect our guests through our global gateway in Seattle for convenient nonstop service to Seoul and Tokyo, with additional connections to other Asian destinations with our global partners, including fellow oneworld member Japan Airlines,” said Andrew Harrison, chief commercial officer at Alaska Airlines, in a statement.
