WISCONSIN — Voters took to the polls on Tuesday to cast their ballots in the Wisconsin general spring election.
In the most expensive judicial race in American history, Democrat-backed Judge Susan Crawford defeated Republican-backed Judge Brad Schimel. In Wisconsin's most expensive race for state superintendent, incumbent Jill Underly defeated challenger Brittany Kinser.
Wisconsin voters also approved the constitutional amendment to enshrine the state’s existing voter ID law into the Wisconsin constitution.
Several large school district referenda were also approved, including a $197.8 million one for Oshkosh Area School District and another $190 million one for Racine Unified School District.
