COLUMBUS, Ohio — Amid continuous heavy rainfall, the Columbus Department of Public Service announced that they are activating the Franklinton floodwall and installing floodgates on Greenlawn and Harmon avenues.

They are asking motorists to avoid the area.

In a traffic alert, the city says Greenlawn Avenue is closed from Front Street to Harmon Avenue. I-71 ramps headed to Greenlawn are also closed in addition to Harmon Avenue north of Frank Road.
