CLEVELAND, Ohio — Space lovers looking to showcase that passion on their vehicles are in luck.
A new specialty license plate will be available for purchase starting tentatively on April 9. According to a release from the center, it features the NASA logo and the words NASA Glenn Research Center.
The plate will be $10 more than a regular one. The money will not go to NASA.
“NASA’s Glenn Research Center makes space exploration and aviation possible,” the release reads. “This incredible work is happening right here in Northeast Ohio, and the people who make it possible are your friends, family, and neighbors. The specialty license plate allows NASA fans to show support for their community and Ohio’s NASA center.”
Ohio lawmakers recently sent a letter of interest to bring NASA's headquarters to Ohio.
