ST. LOUIS—For the first time, the United Nations Association (UNA) USA will hold their National Leadership Summit outside of Washington D.C. UNA-Saint Louis announced on Instagram that they would be hosting the 2025 National Leadership Summit to be held this November.
“I am excited to see how the chapter has grown under the strong leadership of current president, Carlos Suarez,” said former UNA St. Louis Chapter president Stephen Rutherford on Facebook. “The selection of St. Louis as the host city is a testament to the hard work that Carlos has put in to building our chapter.”
The peace-seeking organization has over 20,000 members, 75% of the membership is under 26 years old. UNA has over 230 chapters across the country and “individual champions” in over 46 states and territories. Their mission is to connect grassroots supporters with U.S. decisionmakers in support of a world that is peaceful and prosperous on a healthy planet.
