DID YOU KNOW...
Black Friday is known for being day after Thanksgiving, where people hits the stores in search of deals.
But how did the day get its name? Well, it dubbed "Black Friday" in the 1960s, when the day's sales helped move stores out of the "red" (losses) into the "black" (profits).
Of course in recent years, the shopping holiday has expanded beyond Friday. Many retailers have kicked off their Black Friday sales a day earlier, on Thanksgiving, with sales lasting all weekend.
Since 2005, the Monday after Thanksgiving has been known as Cyber Monday. That's when retailers offer specials deals online.
