ORLANDO, FL - All season long USF has had to hear UCF is better, they’re going to the Big 12. Well on one night at the Bounce House USF put a scare into the mighty Knights. Freshman QB Timmy McClain doing everything he could on the final play to score and steal a win. But it wasn’t meant to be. As the Bulls come off the field and head into their offseason for 2022, they believe they can only go up.

"Really good things that are going on, the way they responded the way they fought," said USF head coach Jeff Scott. "It’s going to pay off. Its not going to be a gradual deal. Whenever we do break through its going to shoot up fast and we’re going to be in a position to have a foundation for sustainable success."

"We come with a lot of energy and juice," said senior defensive back Mekhi LaPointe. "I know it may not show and you guys may not see it, but this team believes."

"Obviously our record doesn’t show for how hard we work but its changing and its turning," said senior offensive lineman Brad Cecil. "I wish you guys could see it and be in the locker room and the practice field. It is so much different than what it was in the past."

Jeff Scott now begins recruiting he will get into homes Sunday and Monday. He will also interview defensive coordinator candidates over the next couple of weeks. So the Bulls doing everything from new coaches to new players to start that trajectory in 2022.
