ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — If you are traveling tomorrow, expect good weather over most of the country. The Southeastern U.S. will have rain from the mountains to the Gulf Coast. There could be a little snow in Indian and north Ohio.

Sunday will be mild nationwide with snow only in Northern New England and the mountains of the Northern Rockies.  The Southeastern U.S. will be cooler.

The weather looks great in the Eastern U.S. on Monday.  It will be cool here in Florida.  A new winter storm will develop in the mountains of the West with heavy snow. 

If you are traveling Tuesday, expect a small snow storm in Iowa, Kansas, Illinois, and Michigan. There will also be snow showers in the mountains of the northwest.  Most of the country will be fairly mild.

There could be some big travel delays on Wednesday as a large winter storm will bring rain and snow to the Southwestern U.S.  Snow might be possible in places like Las Vegas and certainly for Salt Lake City and the mountains.  Rain will be increasing in Texas.

On Thanksgiving Day, most of the country will be cool to mild.  But a big snowstorm will be in progress over the Western U.S. 

Heavy rain could fall in California. Texas will also be rainy.  Most of the East will be dry except for south showers in the Southeast.

On Friday, very heavy snow is expected in Colorado, Utah, and Northern Arizona.  A new batch of cold air will be poised to move into the Northern Rockies.  Showers will increase here in Florida.
