ORLANDO, Fla. — Tropical Depression One has formed 125 miles east of Melbourne, and will likely become a depression or named storm tonight or early Sunday as it moves away from Florida.

For grilling out this evening, expect the scattered showers to continue with temps falling into the 70s.

The showers will come to a close overnight, with lows in the upper 60s and low 70s.

Better weather does return for Sunday, with more sunshine and highs in the low 90s. A few scattered showers will be possible in the afternoon, so keep an eye on outdoor plans.

Quiet weather returns on Monday as more dry air moves in. Temps to start next week will be in the low 90s.

An active weather pattern may begin to set up by the middle of next week. A front will stall over the area, resulting in day-to-day chances of showers and storms and highs in the upper 80s.

The scattered storms will continue for the back end of next week. Highs for Thursday and Friday will be in the upper 80s.

A Small Craft Caution is posted for Sunday, with bumpy Atlantic seas. Surfers will find poor-to-fair conditions, with a lingering easterly swell.
