Tropical Storm Odette was a short-lived storm remaining over the open Atlantic.
The storm formed off the East Coast during the afternoon on Friday, September 17. The system was being monitored for days and made a "C" shaped track moving just off the East Coast of the U.S. as it moved from the Bahamas into the open Atlantic.
Odette became post-tropical during the afternoon on Saturday, September 18 south of Nova Scotia.
Odette was the 15th named system of the season.
