It’s a tale of two seasons in this last week of winter. Early week will feature warm and windy conditions with a midweek cool down and then seasonable conditions for late week.

We'll see sunshine most of today but clouds will increase in the afternoon, thanks to a low pressure and cold front approaching from the west. Ahead of the storm system, gusty southerly winds will help drive temperatures into the low 80s.

The first front will move through tonight with little fanfare, just some clouds. Under partly cloudy skies, temperatures will stay near 60.

Partial sunshine will return tomorrow morning, ahead of the more potent cold front. We’ll see showers and a few rumbles of thunder breakout ahead of the front tomorrow afternoon. Temperatures will climb into the lower 70s.

As the front crosses late tomorrow afternoon, colder air will surge south into the region. Precipitation will wrap around behind the front and with colder air in place, we could see rain mix with and changeover to snow before the wet weather ends late tomorrow night. However, with marginal temperatures, little to no snow accumulation is expected.

Sunshine and seasonable conditions return late week.
