After several days of cool air and comfortable humidity levels, things are about to change for Wisconsin later this week.
As our winds switch to the south, very humid air will be brought north from the Gulf of Mexico.

Dew point temperatures could climb into the 70s by Friday and Saturday making for very uncomfortable conditions. It will feel more like Florida around here come this weekend!

Actual high temperatures will only climb into the mid 80s, but when you factor in the humidity, it will likely feel more like the 90s for many of us.

With this warm and humid air in place, our atmosphere will become very unstable and more supportive of showers and storms. By Friday afternoon, a cold front will arrive from the west and interact with this unstable air to produce a good chance of showers and storms. A few of these could turn strong to severe so stay tuned for updates!
