Prepare for another dry and gusty day across Central Texas.

A RED FLAG WARNING will be in effect for the majority of South, Central, and coastal Texas through Saturday evening due to the threat for wildfires. Use extreme caution with any spark or flame — ANY ignition source could quickly produce an explosive, uncontrollable wildfire.

Low temperatures will be in the upper 60s to near 70 on Saturday morning. Afternoon highs won't be as scorching as that of Friday, but it will still be unseasonably warm with temperatures climbing to near 90 for the southernmost portions of the state.

Winds will finally begin to relax on Sunday. High temperatures will be in the 80s with lots of sunshine.

We'll continue to warm up with dry conditions through St. Patrick's Day. As far as rain goes, however, we're likely not going to get lucky.
