MILWAUKEE — The Marcus Performing Arts Center has expanded its Broadway series for its 30th season, bringing nine Broadway hits to Milwaukee. It's the most Broadway tours the Marcus Center has booked in a season.

  • To kick off the Broadway series, “Mrs. Doubtfire” will run at the Marcus Center from Sept. 30 to Oct. 5, 2025, followed by a return of “Les Miserables” to the venue from Oct. 28 to Nov. 2, 2025

  • Just in time for the holiday season, “Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas the Musical” runs at Marcus Center from Nov. 25 to 30, 2025

  • “Hamilton” kicks off 2026, with a two week showing in Milwaukee from Jan. 20 to Feb. 1. Broadway fans won’t have to wait long for the next show, with “Kimberly Akimbo” coming to the Marcus Center from Feb. 17 to 22, 2026

  • “Hadestown” will also return to the Marcus Center for a short run on March 6 and 7, 2026

  • The revival of “The Wiz” eases on down the road to Milwaukee from March 24 to 29, 2026, followed by the hit jukebox musical, “& Juliet,” from June 9 to 14, 2026. “Monty Python’s Spamalot” rounds out the 2025-26 season, running at the Marcus Center from July 14 to 19, 2026

"'Les Mis' is one of those titles that our audience just loves and is probably one of the top ones that gets requested when we ask our audience what to bring back," Kevin Giglinto, president of the Marcus Center, said.

Hamilton” kicks off 2026, with a two week showing in Milwaukee from Jan. 20 to Feb. 1. Broadway fans won’t have to wait long for the next show, with “Kimberly Akimbo” coming to the Marcus Center from Feb. 17 to 22, 2026. The musical comedy is a five-time Tony winner. 

"First and foremost, the country is celebrating its 250th birthday in 2026, and that's, as I learned, the semiquincentennial," Giglinto said. "In that, we will be bringing 'Hamilton' in 2026. We were very cognizant and tried to make that work within that window... While it's been here a couple of years ago, it continues to sell out and people really love it." 

Hadestown” will also return to the Marcus Center for a short run on March 6 and 7, 2026.

The revival of “The Wiz” eases on down the road to Milwaukee from March 24 to 29, 2026, followed by the hit jukebox musical, “& Juliet,” from June 9 to 14, 2026.

"I am actually most looking forward to '& Juliet,' because I haven't seen it and I've heard just wonderful things," Giglinto said. "I like the fact that it's a contemporary and a very different take on a story that everyone's familiar with, so a 'What might have been.' I'm really excited to see that."

“Monty Python’s Spamalot” rounds out the 2025-26 season, running at the Marcus Center from July 14 to 19, 2026. 

Current Broadway season subscribers will be automatically renewed for the 2025-26 Broadway season. Subscribers will be emailed with details about the renewal process. Those interested in purchasing a subscription may do so, here. Individual show tickets will be made available to the public at a later date. 

"A Beautiful Noise," "Annie," "MJ The Musical" and "Wicked" round out the current theater season. 

The Marcus Center also announced its MPAC Presents Dance and MPAC Presents Jazz series.

Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo starts off the 2025-26 dance series with a performance on Feb. 28, 2026. BODYTRAFFIC follows suit with a performance on March 18, 2026. Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater rounds out the series with an April 21, 2026, show.

Giglinto said he's seen Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater perform for the last seven years. He said the group is "magical and probably one of the world's best dance ensembles.... They are the best. So being able to bring the best to Milwaukee is really important to us." 

Jazz at Lincoln Center Presents: Great American Crooners kicks off the jazz series on Feb. 27, 2026, followed by a show from New Jazz Underground on April 10, 2026. ARTEMIS rounds out the series on May 14, 2026.
