BRADENTON, Fla. — A 48-hour precautionary boil water notice has been issued to Bradenton city water customers due to a power failure at a potable water pump distribution station, officials said Sunday morning.

The power outage led to widespread low water pressure. Officials said the city's generators are running, but it may take a while to fully restore pressure. Florida Power & Light is evaluating the cause, which they believe it to be weather-related, Bradenton Police Department said in a post on their X account.
