DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Daytona Lagoon is offering free admission to all active and retired military members on Memorial Day.

Members of the military can free access to the water park's waterslides and attractions from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on May 27.
A valid military ID is required to get free admission.
Military family members can also get $3 off waterpark admission.
"This is a way for us to give back to active-duty military members and veterans and provide them with a fun way to spend Memorial Day," Daytona Lagoon general manager Tyler Currie said in a statement. "We want to make it easy for them to relax, beat the heat and enjoy themselves at Daytona Lagoon.
Daytona Lagoon recently opened two new thrill slides—Kraken's Revenge, a 50 feet tall mat racer; and Shaka Halfpipe, which sends riders off a 50-foot tower into a tube that swings like a pendulum.
