We will see the coldest air of the season so far overnight with lows below freezing in parts of Citrus and Hernando counties.
A freeze watch is in effect for Citrus and Hernando counties for late tonight into early Wednesday.
Lows down to the upper 20s and low 30s are possible in these areas.
Sensitive vegetation should be covered tonight, not only in these areas, but also in inland areas of Pasco and Hillsborough counties as some patchy frost will be possible.
Keep in mind the lowest temperatures typically occur around sunrise.
Areas near the water from Tampa Bay and southward will be in the 40s.
Highs will be in the upper 60s on Wednesday and we will continue to trend warmer for the rest of the week.
