The event, which runs select nights Sept. 10 through Oct. 31, will feature a house called Cell Block Zombies. The setting is Purgatory Penitentiary, where “incarceration is just the beginning.” Visitors will make their way past zombies and down dark hallways.
“There are only two options for inmates here: breakout alive or be devoured in detention,” reads a description of the hours on the Howl-O-Scream website.
Cell Block Zombies is the second house to be announced for the event. Last week, Busch Gardens revealed The Forgotten, set in the realm of vampires, would be part of the lineup.
Busch Gardens has said Howl-O-Scream will feature five haunted houses this year, with three of them being all-new. The event will also feature eight expansive scare zones spread across the theme park.
Howl-O-Scream is an after-hours, separately-ticketed event. Tickets are currently available to purchase.
