- The house returns with a holiday overlay
The theme park is bringing back The Residence house from previous event years, but giving it a Christmas overlay. The Residence: Home for the Holidays will be set in a suburban home where merriment has turned murderous.
“Christmas arrives earlier than ever this year at The Residence, and all-new horrors are eager to be unwrapped,” according to a description of the house on the Busch Gardens website. “Holidays are best spent with loved ones, but there’s no guarantee you’ll survive this silent night.”
The Residence: Home for the Holidays joins previously announced houses such as The Forgotten and Witch of the Woods.
So far, Busch Gardens hasn’t announced what scare zones will be featured at this year’s event, but the park says more reveals are coming.
Howl-O-Scream, which is a separately ticketed event, will run select nights from Sept. 9 through Oct. 31.
