TAMPA, Fla. — When Busch Gardens Tampa Bay’s seasonal event Bier Fest returns next week, it will feature a new menu inspired by Oktoberfest.

In cabins around the theme park, seasonal fare and a selection of local and international brews will be served every Friday through Sunday from Aug. 12-Sept. 5.
The Oktoberfest-inspired menu will include items such bratkartoffeln (fried potatoes with chives, caramelized onions and bacon), Koniigsberger (German meatballs), pretzel bratwurst, potato pancakes and cheese pierogis.
The festival will also feature more than 50 beverage options, including lagers, ales, IPAs and ciders. Some of the Tampa Bay area selections include Cigar City Fancy Papers Hazy IPA, Leaven Brewing Cheeky Blonde and Tampa Bay Brewing Reef Donkey.
Sampler lanyards are available in five-item, eight-item and 12-item options and can be used at the cabins for food and beverage items. Prices start at $35. Also, pass members can purchase an exclusive 15-item Sampler for the price of a 12-item Sampler.
Busch Gardens will also have a lineup of local bands playing during the festival. The live shows, which are included with park admission, will take place at the Coke Canopy Stage. The lineup includes The Rundown Band, Slickwood, Fire & Ice and Blue Stone Circle.
