Most area theme parks and attractions have reopened after Hurricane Helene, but some remain closed.

THEME PARKS AND ATTRACTIONS
- Busch Gardens Tampa Bay will reopen on Friday at 1 p.m. Howl-O-Scream will take place as scheduled, officials with the park stated.
- Disney World has resumed normal operations after Hurricane Helene.
- Universal Studios Florida returned to normal operations Friday across all theme parks, CityWalk and including Halloween Horror Nights on Friday night.
ZOOS, AQUARIUMS AND MORE
- Bok Tower Gardens reopened on Friday, Sept. 27, after will closing Thursday because of Hurricane Helene.
- Brevard Zoo reopened Friday folllowing a one-day, precautionary closure due to Hurricane Helene. The zoo did not sustain any damage.
- Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens reopened Friday at noon. The Sunset at the Zoo event is postponed to Thursday, Oct. 10. Ticketholders will be reached out via email soon, according to officials with the zoo.
- Clearwater Marine Aquarium will be closed on Friday as well due to flooding, after announcing being closed on Thursday. Aquarium officials said all animals are safe thanks to their "ride out team."
- The Florida Aquarium will have a delayed opening of noon on Friday, after being closed on Thursday. Guests who purchased tickets for Thursday can email MoreInfo@FLaquarium.org or call (813) 273-4000 to reschedule the visit.
- Port Canaveral has reopened with no restrictions. However, Jetty Park remains closed because of a power issue. Florida Power and Light crews are working to restore power. Cruise ships that had been held out of port because of Hurricane Helene are starting to get clearance to come into the port. MSC Seashore will be the first ship to arrive since it has been out the longest. It will be followed by Disney Wish and Utopia of the Seas. Farther out are Adventure of the Seas and Carnival Glory.
- The Straz Center will be closed on Thursday. Officials said the scheduled performance of Jobsite Theater’s POTUS on Thursday is canceled, and those affected by the cancellation will be contacted directly. The Straz says that classes and activities at the Patel Conservatory have been canceled for Thursday, and parents and students will be contacted by a representative of the Patel Conservatory. The facility will reopen on Friday, conditions permitting, officials stated.
- ZooTampa at Lowry Park reopened Friday after closing Thursday to ensure the safety of the animals and team members during Hurricane Helene. Creatures of the Night will take place from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
