Superintendent Addison Davis and School Board Chair Melissa Snively said the meeting will take place at 8 a.m. on Friday, August 28.
It was announced after Judge Charles Dodson blocked the stay of his ruling that gives local districts control over reopening schools amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
That ruling was the result of a lawsuit filed by the Florida Education Assocation, the state's largest teachers union.
