- TRAFFIC NOTES: A part of Morris Bridge Road in Hillsborough County remains closed due to flooding from Hurricane Milton. The road is closed from Cross Creek Boulevard to State Road 56. The portion to Interstate 75 is back open. Meanwhile, in Lakeland, roads near Lake Bonny remain closed. They include Main Street, Elgin Street, Fern Road and Gary Road. Detour signs are in place.
- "STAMMER" RETURNS TO TAMPA: The Tampa Bay Lightning will host the Nashville Predators tonight at Amalie Arena. The game will mark the return of longtime Bolts captain Steven Stamkos, who signed with Nashville during the offseason. Stamkos spent 16 years with Tampa Bay before leaving in free agency. The puck drops tonight at 7:30 p.m.
- FLORIDA FISHING: Greater amberjack recreational harvest will close in the Gulf of Mexico state and federal waters starting Nov. 1, with the last day of harvest being Oct. 31.
- HALLOWEEN EVENTS, ATTRACTIONS: Spooky season is upon us, which means there are plenty of Halloween-themed events across Tampa Bay and Orlando for people of all ages to enjoy. From theme parks to haunted houses, many local attractions have much to offer.

Many Manatee County residents are still struggling to recover after Hurricane Helene, and one of the biggest issues they talk about is a lack of transportation.
In many cases, cars, trucks and motorcycles were damaged by flooding, high winds, or debris. Now, one local organization is stepping up to help people get moving again.
