LOS ANGELES — It’s that time of year again, when Angelenos citywide have to decide whether they’ll buy the coconut Samoas, peanut butter Do-si-dos, graham cracker S’mores or another Girl Scout cookie favorite. On Sunday, the Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles will begin personally distributing the nine types of cookies that are available this year.
Lemon-Ups or Lemonades, Adventurefuls or Thin Mints, each box costs $6 and supports the world’s largest entrepreneurial program for girls. Starting in February, a brand new cookie will join the mix. Billed as a “thin, crispy cookie infused with raspberry flavor and dipped in chocolaty coating,” Raspberry Rally can only be purchased online and shipped directly to customers’ homes.
Don’t know a Girl Scout? No problem. Sign up for the Girl Scouts’ cookie finder to be alerted to a nearby sales location when booths open Feb. 10.
