Hailing from Florida's 55th District, State Representative Kevin Steele was inspired to run for office by the governor and former President, who he believes fought for Floridians' rights. His favorite part of being a legislator is tackling challenges and helping manage fiscal responsibilities.

One thing Steele would say his district does better than anywhere else is its diverse mix of agriculture and business. His main priority in the coming months is to facilitate better healthcare at  lower costs. 

If Steele could have lunch with any legislator, he would choose George Washington. His favorite movie is The Goonies.
