The man who climbed through a Burger King drive-thru window to rob the business Monday morning may be the same man who robbed a McDonald's earlier this month.
Orange County deputies said a man drove up to the Burger King on Collegiate Way near the University of Central Florida around 3:30 a.m. to complain that his order wasn't correct. Deputies said the man then climbed through the drive-thru window and robbed the employee. He drove off in a red car.
Deputies think the same man may have robbed a McDonald's on Orange Blossom Trial near Rose Avenue on Oct. 7.
Deputies said a man climbed through the drive-thru window, held the cashier at gunpoint and made her open the register. He grabbed cash and ran off.
Deputies said the man wore a mask for that robbery, and it appears he did his research on how to commit the robbery.
