A Cocoa man has been charged in the robbery of a Kangaroo Express in Melbourne and a separate robbery earlier this month, according to police.

Jessie Crawford has been charged with robbery with a firearm, robbery by disguise and theft for two robberies that occurred Jan. 8, according to a Melbourne Police Department news release and the Brevard County Sheriff's Office inmate information page.
Police said the 41-year-old Crawford implied he had a firearm and wore an orange hoodie while robbing the Kangaroo Express on 2455 North Wickham Road at about 9:35 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 8.
Crawford is also accused in the robbery of an unknown business in the Sebastian area just two hours after the Kangaroo Express robbery, police stated.
Crawford's bond is set for $6,000. He is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday, Feb. 14, according to the Brevard County Sheriff's Office.
